UFO CEO Meets Long-Standing Dominican Republic Members, Caribbean International Cargo

Universal Freight Organisation CEO, Rachel Crawford recently met with Claudia Benitez and Robert Morales of Caribbean International Cargo, who have proudly represented the Dominican Republic in UFO since 2009.
The meeting offered a wonderful opportunity to reflect on shared memories from past Annual Network Gatherings in destinations such as Greece, Hong Kong, Thailand, Rome, Prague, and of course Punta Cana, where the event was hosted in 2012. We also looked ahead, discussing how UFO can further support the next generation of freight professionals within the network. I shared details of several exciting new development plans for 2026 focused on strengthening training, engagement, and professional growth among younger members (watch this space!).
The visit also provided a special opportunity to meet three of their children, Ivan Simón, Liesl Morales, and Weydy Minyety who have since joined the family business, an inspiring reflection of the company’s strong continuity, values, and commitment to nurturing the next generation of freight professionals.
